Hello to my fellow blog readers!
I have been caught up with so many obstacles in my life that I forgot about my blog. I initially started my blog to express my feelings and share my opinions but somewhere along the way, I lost the sight of the reason why I started the blog. Life is about how you overcome your fears and obstacles. You might ask what is my fear? Well, my fear is to disappoint my family. I come from a family of overachievers. I’ve always felt that I’m a black sheep, did not belong anywhere. My brothers were complete nerds whereas I was more of a freedom child. I didn’t see the difference when I was little, but as I was growing up the difference between my family and I became more apparent. I started to feel like an outsider looking through a window, trying to fit in with the values and norms established by my family. I became a rebel who stood up for what she believed in and caused an uproar on a daily basis with my family. As time went on, I understood who I am and what I want to accomplish. I still have some doubts but I am figuring things out as I come across some obstacles. Well, what I’m trying to tell you is that just because you feel like a black sheep within your own family does not make you any different! you are capable of achieving anything and everything they can achieve too. You just have to take time to explore the inner person but it takes courage and confidence.

Today, I’m feeling under the weather since I got soaked in the rain last night. I think I have a fever but I’ll be back on my feet by tomorrow since I have to start studying for my exams. I took my medicine and the landlord made soup for me to drink. As long as I take bed rest, I’ll be alright. Well, I’m going to head back to reading some articles since I can’t even get out of my bed:(. I wish my mom was here to take care of me.

I found this song on 106 and Park and it has a pretty good melody! I was surprised to see the number of views they had even though they are really talented. They do deserve more recognition compared to Rebecca Black who uses auto tune to alter her voice. Why do I find many talented artists to be underrated. This band definitely reminds me of Boyz II Men. Only if a man would sing outside of my winder in the rain……
